The Methods Clinic is a monthly online drop-in session for scholars interested in interpretive research. The Methods Clinic meets via Zoom on the third Friday of the month at 4pm Central European Time (GMT+1)/8am Mountain Time (US) for 70 to 90 minutes.

Pandemic! Pivoting to Digital/Virtual Research

While many of our research designs and plans have been altered and possibly outright cancelled, we are fortunate to live in a time where digital information access and transfer is more efficient and useful than ever. Digital Fieldwork Symposium: Ethics and Methods

In this panel, we want to reflect on the epistemological, methodological, ethical and practical challenges of doing digital fieldwork. When the COVID 19 pandemic spread around the world, it transformed all facets of our lives, including the research projects we were involved in. Travel and face-to-face fieldwork were restricted, and the internet became the dominant research venue.
